At K9 Rustic Ranch we don’t just leave your pet in a kennel all day. While staying with us, your pet will enjoy numerous playtimes through out the day, as well as group playtime if they enjoy additional company. Rather than keeping them “locked up”, we want your pet to enjoy their stay and be a more relaxed dog when they return to you! In addition, your pet will receive a complimentary bath on exit.

I always had a love for animals as a child, especially dogs. I grew up with many dogs, most of them being rottweilers. After college I went a different route with my career, studying in drafting. After finding that sitting behind a desk just wasn’t for me, I came across a dog training company that was hiring and decided to give it a shot.

I worked for this company for nearly eight years and learned many things including, proper care for a pet, reading dog signals, understanding dog behavior, and realizing, just like in humans, how important exercise is to your pet! Shortly after working there, I was introduced to my now husband Tom. We now live here at K9 Rustic Ranch with our two children Kyler and Taylor.

Tom Riche

Tom has been attached to dogs since a child. He is a highly recognized dog trainer, both in obedience training and in schutzhund training. He has been training dogs for almost 20 years. Tom is president of the Working American Bulldog Association.

He has trained everything from your tiny tea-cup chihuhua to your giant mastiff. Tom is a big advocate on proper diet, exercise and early socialization to achieve a well balanced dog. Together, Tom and Kristi create a relaxed, friendly and safe enviroment for your pet.
